Re: work and co-workers

I'm sorry this is happening to you.

I would not advise you go back to work to confront her; that would look very bad for you.

First, understand in your own mind that she is your equal. It...

Re: We got a dog!

Re: Christmas Gifts? Adult kids with children..

Many in my family are limited income. When grandchildren came along, it was okay to buy for the kids and skip the parents. I don't know if anybody minded this. I...

You didn't ask for any advice, so please forgive me if I overstep.

Re: Can't take much more

I'm very sorry, Jay21.

IMO, divorce doesn't resolve problems, it just exchanges one set of problems for another.

Have you tried to marriage and family counseling? Even if you go by...

Re: We got a dog!

Aww, poor guy. The kids are too much for him!

Our girl plays with the dog across the street sometimes. Mostly, she sleeps on the couch. :)

Re: Overwhelmed

Good for you! Your DS is older. You can actually take a day off and you should, once a week if you can swing it.

My kids love this stuff! One does photography. I love the pics he gets.

My DD loves astronomy and likes to look at constellations.

Me? I don't care how many lines anyone draws, I still don't...

Re: Said something to hurt someone's feelings

I agree with KayKay to make the apology. I personally would keep it short, "I'm sorry for my rude behavior. It was uncalled for, and please forgive me."

I manage volunteers in an educational...

Re: Son moved back home - DDIL kicked him out

It's not your news to tell. Let him tell it when and how he wants to tell it.

If DDIL wants to go shopping, go. If she brings up the situation, and you can listen actively without giving your...

Re: Son moved back home - DDIL kicked him out

Ugh. That may very well be the deal breaker.

Whether or not it's physical, it may be an emotional affair. Or it might be nothing.

If your DIL were here, I'd refer her to Divorce Busting.
