Granddaughter

Hi new here, neat site

I have 1 granddaughter Aubrey she is 3, she is so special to me...I know from raising my 2 daughters that time goes by too fast and a parent sometimes do not appreciate or have the time to appreciate what they have!

Live each day as if there is no tomorrow

Re: Granddaughter

G'day Carolyn, so very true, when our children are young, we seem to be so busy with the day to day tasks, teaching, rushing them here and there, we get so tied up that we forget to stop and enjoy what we have ... in a blink of an eye it's all gone, they have grown and have their own children ... then we become grandparents, have plenty of time to enjoy, know what we have missed out on when our children were young ... thankfully as grandparents, we are able now to relax and enjoy our second chance to really appreciate what we have ...
Huge Hugs Lynnie

Re: Granddaughter

Beautifully said, ladies. I feel exactly the same way.

When my children were young, I was a working mom. Finding a few hours designated just for them wasn't always easy with so many things to do. But now that I am a grandmother and retired, I have whole days to spend with my grandchildren. I know this time is limited, because one day they too will be all grown up with lives of their own. So these are my treasured memories!
