question(s) for the mods

Do old threads get deleated?

If so, is it when a thread gets so old, or when no one has posted to it in say ... 4 years?

Re: question(s) for the mods

No, threads don't get deleted unless there is a specific moderation reason (i.e. advertising or spam). We have threads all the way back to the inception of the forum.

Re: question(s) for the mods

Great, I was wondering if I should bump old threads that I refer to.

I don't particularly see an advantage to bumping them. If you are referencing them, just add a link. That way other people's more recent threads won't get buried.

Re: question(s) for the mods

just wondering - should I create new threads or add to (kinda - very) old ones if I have something to add/say?

I don't know if the background info would be helpful or not - or if the new info would "stand alone"

JUst keep adding. It makes it easier for readers if it's all in one place (IMO)
