Re: @#*% Cats

Thank Goodness, all our cat does inside is vomit. (grrrr) And mostly she does that outside as well. - She is free to come and go as her royal highness wishes of course, but it is much nicer to be curled up with mummy and daddy and the dog at night, isn't it?

Re: @#*% Cats

Off topic, but it made me laugh and Mrs X reminded me of it so I thought I'd share...

One night a few weeks ago, when I was really really upset with DH, I fell asleep with our female cat between us. I awoke in the middle of the night to the sound of the cat getting ready to vomit (that gagging thing they do). In a blink of an eye, I thought to myself "HA HA! She's facing his way! He deserves to have a cat barf on him in the middle of the night!" (He did). Then I decided that I needed to do the right thing, and I removed the cat to the bathroom (tile) floor.

True love. (That, and I realized I'd be the one cleaning it up)

Re: @#*% Cats

got home tonight & discovered that "PITA" (who likes to demand that I feed him at the crack o' dawn) puked on the airhockey table - and I'd just cleaned it a few days ago

Re: @#*% Cats

I like to watch our 4 year old drag our cat around like a sack of potatoes. It never occurs to the cat to defend itself or escape. after 5 minutes it's meowing frantically at the back door.

Re: @#*% Cats

I'm probably offering information you already know, but just in case

cats do not like to use the same litter box

the cat was probably using the litter box before you put litter in it, b/c he was claiming it as his.

if cats go outside the litter box, there is something disturbing them about what is in the box....?

have you changed litters? Cats are extremely sensitive to textures, smells, etc.

do you have a litter box for each cat you own?

cats like only about 2 inches of litter in the box.

they don't like to go in a place another cat has used?

Why don't you put their names on each of their litter boxes? LOL, just kidding.

Re: @#*% Cats

DH is ready to kill the cats

I'd just scooped out the litter boxes ....and one of the cats pooped on the carpet
