Oh wow! I bet this is a name you almost never hear...how funny that a friend of mine (who is head of membership in the local chapter of Sweet Adelines) is named Dodie as well.

Small world and all that, right? :- )

Re: Baby names-- boy

Myself and my partner have complete names for both a boy and a girl. I love them both, though our girl's name is more unique than our boy's, though that is still unique as well.

I do not want to share them at this point, but suffice it to say, I am 9 weeks, 1 day today with our first. I believe it is a boy, but I love the girl's name SOOO much I almost want the girl first, though I always wanted a boy first my whole life.

I also like the name Caleb James
I really love the name Hunter, though my partner's cousin already named her first son that, and he is 4. So that one is out. I actually prefer the name we have found now more anyways.

I actually quite like the name Ivy, and I also quite like Caleb and Jacob, Paige, Joel, and Gabe but none of those are my names picked either.

Re: Baby names-- boy

I'd like a unique name such as names of the country or cities like Alaska, Indianapolis, and more.

Re: Baby names-- boy

I like traditional names that are easy to pronounce and spell, so do my parents. My brothers names or Alex, Craig and David.
My parents were considering naming them 3 names that rhyme but they decided against that and went for 3 names they liked.
I like those names. Other boys names I like are Ben, Kieran, Cody, Jack, Brian, Luck and Zack.
