Re: Do we become our parents?
As you may (or may not) know, my DM has been living with me and my DH for about 2 yrs now.
I've noticed that I am doing the same thing that DM does - that drives me nuts - so I'm trying to be more mindful of what I say/how I say things ex: what ever I say DM takes the opposite position - fact: our neighbors tree about touches our deck/is starting to hang over our deck DM: something needs to done about it so that it doesn't end up damaging our deck (DH & I agree, but I can get a free consult with a lawyer so we know our options - years ago I'd talked to the owner about the tree and she didn't want to pay to trim it) fact: I've set up an appointment DM: you don't want to trim the tree, long spiel about shade and powerbills snafu: insurance deductible DM: different argument about why we shouldn't grrrr

Re: Do we become our parents?
😱😑
DM is rubbing off on me even more....there are times I sound (and act) like I'm 20+ years older than I am.....and I've gotten a lot worse lately.
