I had a total hysterectomy 2 yrs ago. I'm so thankful I don't have the mood swings but I do have the hot flashes. HRT isn't for me so I tried all of the herbs but nothing worked.

After a long talk with my GP she told me that some women take Paxil for hot flashes. I was skeptical at first but it works. It didn't take them away but it greatly reduced the number.
