Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Although I am of Italian descent...

The Bishops have given a dispensation to allow meat today, a Friday of Lent.

My ODS said he was going out to celebrate with friends.

YDS is going to the St. Patty's Day parade tonight.

And I woke up to green balloons on my mailbox. I looked down the street and all the neighbors had green balloons! The Irish guy in the middle had a fully decorated mailbox.

I guess everyone is Irish on St. Patty's Day!

Heck yeah!! I'm actually 1/4th Irish, but on St. Patrick's Day I claim 100%.

And I was a little surprised by Bishop's dispensation. LOL. Gee, figures it was the one night I splurged and had lobster planned for dinner.

Wish I could come! We still won't eat meat here. We'll have a poor man's supper of pierogies. Nothing like a polish supper on an Irish Feast!

Yummmmm pierogis....

No meat here either -- high veggie salad, coconut stuff. although the dogs are eating meat - the sinners.

Happy St. Patrick's To all - and to all watch out for that green beer.

No green beer here. Just margaritas.
