Smile What do you do for your wellness?

Like title states?

I try to work out atleast 4 times a week, but usualy it just ends up at 3 becouse of getting caught up in work. Not in the negative manner tho, in the positive

Other then that, I take atleast 2 massages a week to make the body relaxed. If I have any energy left after sleeping during the session, then when I get home I go to my Sauna and just let the muscles relax abit more.

Always trying to eat healthy and just being a good person to myself and my son.

You are so lucky to live in a place with a sauna! That must be tremendously expensive, especially in New York! My husband and I are hoping to convert a bathroom in our house to a sauna someday.

Healthy fats. Raw fruits/veggies in juice form. Add my hemp protein powder or oil.

O r g a n ic. No genetically modified foods.

Organic food base vites/mins at times. The usual magnesium oil on skin, iodine drops (oral type), zinc, a little iron, b complex, vitamin c ( non China made not from corn)
Far infrared sauna.

Dry brush skin.

Ground with earth.

Appreciate. Be grateful.

Eta: drink fluoride/chlorine free water. . Learned that one the hard way, first kidney stone in 58 years and.it.gets.stuck. ouch

Re: What do you do for your wellness?

aside - when DH got kidney stones the Dr told him to drink lemon juice/real lemonade - the acid in it will help prevent future kidney stones

he gets something at the store (in the refrigerated juice section) called Simply Lemon.

YES! an organic lemon in a glass of water every morning for me too. Helps blood. Helps liver. Adds more c. Its all good.

I also make an apple cider vinegar drink with water, cinnamon and stevia. Or, just the acv in water.

There is a tincture Stone Breaker I add to my juice as well. I also refused the antibiotic--cipro--given to me free. Has TWO black box warnings. Its the stuff to take when ALL others fail to stop the infection.

I redid a culture and found to be infection free. Another thing I do for wellness.

I wouldn't wish stones on my ex!

Re: What do you do for your wellness?

Here's my list:

Make sure I get enough outside time - I need to be out in the wildersauce a certain amount of time to remain grounded. Reminds me of a line from a favourite song of mine: "We lay down on the ground because the earth was lonely"

Make as much of my exercise productive as possible. I cycle to and from work as much as possible, I split wood in winter, walk my dogs - avoid the gym but move a lot!

I try to eat whole foods, including animal fats instead of manufactured grain oils. I've been rendering lard and tallow for cooking with and using lots of butter for the holidays.

I say no to social engagements when I'm feeling burned out instead of going when I think I "should". I know I will not enjoy myself and it will compromise my ability to do other things that I want to do.

Buy only the things I really need and give away the things I don't.

Re: What do you do for your wellness?

The simplest and easiest way to get fitness is to do regular exercise and never lose your daily exercise routine. Eating one green vegetable per day or one leafy green is a great way to get yourself healthier in the kitchen without much thought.
