Smile Share your cost saving tips about anything!

I do a few things like, cut my 2 boys hair at home with my clipper set and scissors, I taught myself to do it, and they haven't been to hairdressers for over 10 years. My friend is a hairdresser and said I do it very well, and they allow me to do it.....hahaha. Then I mainly cook from scratch saving a bit of money not buying takeout. I make all the sauces for things, so no packet sauce, and I make enough for 2 nights dinner, so one night we eat a dinner, and then the next next we just heat up the left overs. If they want takeout, I make big burgers and oven wedges or pizzas on the bbq...yummm.

What you do that saves you $$...??

Try to take leftovers for lunch at work.
Take a bottle filled with water wherever i'm going, so i don't have to buy a drink.

Cost saving tip...

If you don't "NEED" it - Don't buy it. There's a difference between WANT and NEED.

I've been trying to teach my wife that for 30 years.

So far I've failed miserably.

The problem is that you don't understand her working definition of need!
