Processing emotions

Mods - I wasn't sure where to put this, so feel free to move it

I am no longer "stuffing" my emotions and .... ho boy

I came home upset about something that had happened and ranted/vented the other night - and I'm realizing that it's ok to "explode" (but at home), but that its ok to stand up for myself (which I had done)

and while I was venting I even said my reaction was over the top/excessive

But I'm feeling good - I put my needs/wants first - nicely (I think). I remembered years ago Grubby said she'd come out "guns blazing" after holding things in, and I was able to do a good job without losing it.

Re: Processing emotions

Go, snafu! Expressing yourself is healthy. I'm glad you are finally embracing that.
