question(s) for parents of college kids
My DS will be leaving for college in a few weeks.
I'm fine with the idea of him being gone, but not that he'll be rooming with strangers. What thing(s) helped when your kid(s) went to college?

They won't be strangers for long, snafu! Don't worry. I roomed with strangers when I went off for college. Everyone is in the same boat.

DS is enjoying college - said he's really busy.
He and his BFF (they've know each other for over 10 yr) get together at least twice a week (different majors & both are really busy) We text when we feel like it and I've not had empty nest issues. Yey me!

DS will be heading back for college in a month. He's got an apartment with friends.
