Re: mean "girls" in the work place

I followed up on a previous e-mail with mean girl today about some equipment.

She got really pizzy with me & told me that I'd never e-mailed her about the equipment issue. (if she'd said she didn't remember me sending anything, that would have been fine)

later today I forwarded her the orginal e-mail with a "here's the orginal"

I'm proud of myself for "standing up" for myself. I've been told by co-worker she may yell at me.

What a grumpy guss she sounds like! Good thing she's retiring.

Let me know when she's gone and I'll celebrate for you!

some of the people at work are planning a retirement party/dinner for her - thing is no one thinks she'll show up

Re: mean "girls" in the work place

Takes all kinds. Hope you don't live in an "At Will" state like I do. I'm told there are 11 states that have no labor board. When I first came here, 20 yrs ago, there was protection for laborers. Not anymore.
I don't have to deal with it now, but our daughter is/has. She's been literally cussed out and fired, for something she didn't even do. There is no recourse. You just have to take it.
For this reason alone, I wish she would move to another state.
P.S. Let us know when the party is...

Won't show up to her own party? Even better reason to have one!
