Re: mean "girls" in the work place

Well, making a BINGO card is part of detaching--realizing that the things mean (or crazy) people do has nothing to do with you, and everything to do with the fairly predictable mean girl playbook (or <insert character disorder> playbook). It's a reasonably healthy approach to take because it means you are not personalizing what they say or do.

Re: mean "girls" in the work place

snerk - had a new one today

mean girl went way out of her way to make it obvious to me she's ignoring me - which defeats the purpose of ignoring me

DH said my lack of reaction is probally driving her nuts

Re: mean "girls" in the work place

I understand her behavior (within context) and I haven't nor will I bait her.

I'm just not certain at what point when or if I should notify our supervisor. At this point its not really affecting me, but the person she's given work to instead of me.

You can't really go to the supervisor and say, "___'s not talking to me." You'll look like a whiner. I wouldn't say anything and allow the person who's getting dumped on to speak up. But definitely document it somewhere, just in case.

Re: mean "girls" in the work place

I have no clue what happened to that previous post - nor do I remember what it said... oh well .....

2 mini-updates for the price of one (good news & bad news)

bad news first: mean girl's sib passed away recently

good news: mean girl is retiring at the end of this year
