Red face I "fell" off the wagon

I was doing so good - not drinking soda, eating fast food, & using the Wii Fit.... then the holiday stress hit

First thing I quit was the Wii fit
(ooo, I rhymed)

the next thing was I went back to soda ( - sometimes I'm up to 3 or 4 a day

And I have caved a few times to fast food- but I really don't want it, its just that its ready made & I could eat on the run... this will be the easiest to give up

How's everyone else doing?

(aside, I'm planning on getting the fit upgrade tomorrow-more balance games)

Re: I "fell" off the wagon

I fell off the wagon too, but my friends pushed me.

You see, it's much easier to blame all of the people who brought me homemade candy, fudge, cookies, and quick-breads and the people who sent me gift baskets with candy and nuts and cheeses and cookies and and and... than it is to blame myself for eating it all. I mean, these so-called friends KNOW I have a sweet tooth and no self-control.

So it's not my fault, Your Honor. The debil made me do it.

Oh, snafu, I've not only fallen off the wagon, I never chased it and it's way out of sight! And I'm not even making a New Year's Resolution to go searching for it.

Re: I "fell" off the wagon

Well, I jumped off the wagon, kicking and screaming that "I need caffeine and chocolate" the week of finals. That wagon is long gone now.

Re: I "fell" off the wagon

ahhhh, the holiday stress. I know exactly what you mean. We get together at my brother's every year and there's all kinds of baked goodies. Just can't help myself. Then silly me always brings some of it home.

Re: I "fell" off the wagon

I've climbed back on "the wagon" - I've been eating salads for lunch when subbing (I found out I like dried cranberries & blue cheese when I have italian dressing- who knew).

I weighed myself today - I'm back down to what I weighed before DM was in the hospital for 6 weeks
