Re: "Snowmagedon"
It's snowing south of you in Baltimore.
I don't get it though. I don't know about where you are, but the temperatures are above freezing. I realize it can snow despite above-freezing weather, but how does it accumulate when the ground isn't frozen yet? Here when snow hits the ground, it melts because our ground and especially streets are too warm for it to stick. Haven't y'all been having unseasonably warm weather?

Re: "Snowmagedon"
We had warm weather in February and the little snow we had last week melted on road surfaces. But we've had a few days of below freezing at night, and barely making it to 32 for a few days-- just enough to support a good snow!
We had a few inches of snow during the night, now we're getting sleet. Then we we're supposed to get more snow. This is going to be a bear to shovel. I'd prefer 18" of snow to this! Maybe it will warm just a little more to rain.🤗 |

Re: "Snowmagedon"
Yuck, Lucy. That snow on top of ice is like shoveling concrete.

Re: "Snowmagedon"
It switched back to snow, and stopped. We shoveled. It was so heavy because of the sleet and rain! But it's done. Whatever is left will freeze tonight so we'll probably have a delay tomorrow.
Hopefully this is the last one. |
