question(s) for parents of college kids

My DS will be leaving for college in a few weeks.

I'm fine with the idea of him being gone, but not that he'll be rooming with strangers.

What thing(s) helped when your kid(s) went to college?

Chardonnay.

They won't be strangers for long, snafu! Don't worry. I roomed with strangers when I went off for college. Everyone is in the same boat.

The bonus of your kids living with strangers is that they come home happy to be with family!
