Re: Odd Allergy(ies)

I was just reminded of one I have last night -

It's been a rough few days & I stopped by "Specialty Lush Bath" products place and grabbed a few things. Then went home to enjoy a soak in the tub - and used the citrus scented "bomb" - my skin reacted as if I'd been burned (puffy, red, and itchy). I called the place and found out that it had grapefruit juice in it.

I react to grapefruit juice in things like shampoo - I never even thought to check the bath stuff.

The store is going to give me a free thingy (and none of the other stuff I bought has grapefruit juice in it)

I have I guess? An allergy to dry heat....must keep my thermostate at no higher then 66 degrees and run a cool mist humidifier, otherwise, my nose starts to hurt, bleed, and the pain shoots up in my head....cannot run the fireplace long either.

I used to have a friend who had an odd cat allergy .... dander didn't bother her, but the saliva = huge red welts (no kitty kisses for her)
