I don't know about the Plantar Faciitis, but I am sorry for your pain. The advice about "sizing up" is so good though. A friend told me to do that when I was complaining that a new pair of NB weren't as comfy as a previous pair. I did size up with the next pair and it made such a difference.

Foot's still there... It's getting s-l-o-w-l-y better. I do a lot of stretching. Not so many frozen water bottles anymore. I quit the soaking in ice water after my falling asleep incident. I made my own shoe inserts using good foam (really comfortable if I must say - might keep that up).

My daughter, who is a Massage Therapist, worked on my foot a couple of times. I don't know what she did, but it doesn't hurt anymore. Maybe a bit of stiffness if I work in the yard to long. Otherwise, it's doing fantastic.
